Update: Trend Prediction feature (former Covid 19 Impact)

Double update for the Covid Impact feature, which starting today will be called “Trend Prediction” and provide more data.

This was announced on the Facebook group Ivano Di Biasi, also explaining the reasons for the new name, which was chosen not only as a superstitious gesture for the future, but also for a factual fact. The predictions provided by the tool, in fact, are valid for any kind of event that could ever occur in the real world, and not only for Covid.

More practical is the other update, which consists of the introduction of the trend of searches for the previous year into the graph: this will allow the data to be compared more accurately and appropriate considerations to be made about it.

Thus, the graph consists of:

• a bar graph with volumes indicated by Google.
• a raph in dashed green for last year’s Zoom Trend.
• a graph in red for the current month’s prediction.
