Site Reputation Abuse Update

Google intensifies the rules of site reputation abuse, a practice in which third-party content exploits a host site’s ranking signals to manipulate SERPs. It is now explicitly prohibited to publish such content, even with the direct involvement of the site owner. In addition, Google has updated its systems to evaluate sections of sites independently, preventing sub-sections from gaining unwarranted advantage from the domain’s overall reputation.
