New Google terminology: System and Update
This is not technical news, but it is useful to point out that Google now uses two different terms to refer to algorithm interventions:
System is a ranking algorithm, constantly running in the background.
Update is a one-time change to ranking systems.
For now, we will not change the designations already present on the blog, to avoid confusion.
