SpamBrain
SpamBrain is a machine learning-based artificial intelligence system developed by Google to identify and combat spam in search results. It was first introduced in 2019 and has been constantly updated since then to keep up with new techniques used by spammers and ensure that users receive relevant, high-quality search results.
SpamBrain uses a variety of techniques to detect spam, including content analysis, behavior analysis, and context analysis, through machine learning techniques to detect patterns and behaviors associated with spam to improve Google’s ability to filter and reduce spam or malicious content appearing in search results.
According to Google, it can detect 99% of spam in search results and is therefore an important component of Google’s security system.
