Orphan Page

An orphan page is a page on a Web site that does not receive links from other pages on the same domain. It is therefore a URL that is physically present, but essentially invisible because it is absent from the internal linking structure of the site.

This can make it difficult for search engines and users to find the page, and this can negatively affect user experience and SEO.

Usually orphan pages are not created intentionally, but are the effect of circumstances and actions that may be beyond control, such as changes in the site or simple errors. To discover orphan pages, it is necessary to conduct an SEO audit, then evaluate how to handle each detected URL according to its potential value and strategy.
