Link Earning

The term link earning refers to an SEO strategy that aims to earn links naturally and organically, rather than buying them or artificially creating them through illicit link building practices.

Link earning is based on creating high quality, useful and informative content to persuade other websites, bloggers, influencers and users to share it and spontaneously build links to it. This practice is in line with search engine guidelines, which reward naturally acquired inbound links as signals of a web page’s authority and relevance.

The concept of link earning emphasizes the importance of gaining attention and recognition through content authority, innovation, and the dissemination of useful resources that meet the needs and interests of the target audience. In this way, earned links are the result of organic recognition and can significantly improve a website’s reputation and ranking in search results, as search engines interpret these links as signals of quality and relevance.

The main difference between link earning and link building lies in the approach used to acquire links: Traditionally, link building involves proactive and direct link acquisition activity, which can include various techniques such as creating business-specific content, sending link requests to related websites, participating in guest blogging, exchanging links to other strategies that require direct intervention to obtain links, resulting in practices that violate ethical guidelines and best practices suggested by search engines (such as buying links), which can lead to penalties or manual actions for ranking manipulative activities.

In contrast, link earning focuses on creating valuable content that attracts links naturally and is particularly valued for its ability to generate high-quality links that improve a website’s authority and trust in the long run.
