Lazy Loading

Lazy loading is an optimization technique that delays the loading of noncritical resources, such as images and videos, until they are needed, that is, until they enter the user’s viewport while the page is being navigated.

This means that the browser will initially load only the content visible to the user, reducing the initial loading time and improving overall site performance.

Lazy loading can be particularly useful for websites with many images or heavy multimedia content and for improving the user experience on mobile devices with slow connections.

To implement lazy loading, you can use native HTML attributes such as “loading=lazy” for images and iframes, or JavaScript libraries that offer more control and compatibility with older browsers.
