Knowledge Graph (Google)

Google’s Knowledge Graph is a knowledge system launched in 2012 that aims to improve search results by providing more precise answers and contextual information.

It uses a large collection of structured data to understand relationships between real-world entities, such as people, places and things, and to present related information in a more intuitive and visual way.

The Knowledge Graph is manifested in search results through Knowledge Panels and other SERP Features such as interactive graphs and instant answers. Its introduction marked a significant step in the evolution of search from a series of links to a deeper understanding of the meaning and context of user queries.
