Expertise
In the context of Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines, Expertise refers to expertise and, more specifically, the depth of knowledge or skill in a particular field or topic demonstrated by the author of a piece of content.
Google evaluates an author’s expertise based on various factors, including his or her qualifications, experience, and the quality of the content he or she produces, to ensure that the content provides accurate, useful, and well-informed information. The reliability of the content also depends on the nature of the topic, because different topics require different levels and types of expertise.
Thus, on a specific medical topic a doctor writing an article would have a high level of expertise, but when it comes to electrical wiring, content produced by an experienced electrician is preferable.
Generally speaking, an author with strong expertise will have the appropriate credentials, experience, and knowledge to write with authority on a topic, emerging as a reliable source.
