CDN (Content Delivery Network)
CDN stands for Content Delivery Network and indicates a network of geographically distributed servers that work together to deliver Web content faster.
A CDN enables the fast transfer of assets needed to load Internet content, including HTML, javascript, style sheets and images.
The main goal of a CDN is to reduce latency, the delay before a data transfer begins following a transfer request, by serving information from the server geographically closest to the user.
