Meta Description
The Meta Description is a brief summary of a web page that appears in search engine results.
Technically speaking, it is a limited-length HTML tag that is used to provide readers with a concise preview of web page content, and is part of Google’s classic preview text snippets.
It is probably the most well-known and main non-direct ranking factor used by Google: it does not directly affect ranking in search results, but a good Meta Description can increase the click-through rate, as it can attract users’ attention and convince them to click on the result.
